About the Foundation

Our promise
In order to provide maximum transparency to our users regarding the use of their climate action contributions (earmarked donations for carbon offset projects), we have decided to make a pledge regarding the use of these funds:
- Direct Impact: we will invest at least 80% of these donations in carbon offset projects
- Create a movement: we will use a maximum of 10% of these donations to finance education programs (e.g. our platform development and public relations), thus ensuring that more people take action against climate change
- Indirect Impact: we will use a maximum of 10% of these donations to finance other personnel and administrative costs.
Non-earmarked donations will be used where needed most.
Financial Reports
ClimatePartner gGmbH publishes its annual and financial report here every year, showing the costs for carbon offset projects, public relations, and other personnel and administrative costs. The publication is made by 30.06. of the following year. The gGmbH was initially put into operation in 2020.
